lies 8 km off the Panamericana along the road. It has a colorful Sunday market and the surrounding countryside areas are
inviting for a pleasant walk.
Forastero.- Good food. Located on the corner of Flores and Olmedo.

20 Km from Pimampiro is the village of Sigsigpamba with no accommodation
available and only a few basic shops. We are mentioning this town because it is the best access to the Puruanta
lake, a very exciting four to five hours hike. The lake is set between the high paramo with charming surroundings
for camping and trout fishing. Avoid hiking in the rainy season (November to May). The Mariano Acosta village is nearby.
