Telecommunications.-
Local and international calls are available through the Andinatel
offices on Av. 10 de Agosto and Colón. Also, on Benalcazar
between Chile and Mejia (in the old city). Public phones from
Bell South and Porta are reliable for international calls as well.

Post
Office.- There are several postal branches throughout the
city, they usually open Monday to Friday from 08:00 till 18:00,
on Saturdays 08:00-14:00. The best branch is on Japón between
Naciones Unidas and Amazonas (behind the CCI mall). Another branch
is in the old city (Espejo, between Guayaquil and Venezuela).
Internet.-
Quito as many other big cities in the country has several Internet
cafés, you'll find them everywhere especially in the big
malls. We're mentioning just a few below, the average rates start
at around US$1 per hour. Most Internet cafes offer net2phone and
Dialpad for around US$0.20 per minute. See also our communications
