| Galapagos recommended boats | With
over 100 tour boats working the Galapagos islands it is impossible to name and refer the numerous operators and cruises operating in the Archipelago, as well as taking into account the various guides, captains and working crews operating them who may change frequently as their contracts end on their given craft.
What we can do is to offer some suggestions for some of the owners who control these services although there will be other tours just as good that are to numerous to be mentioned and so in no way should prejudice your final decision or detract from excluded names from the short list of references listed below.
Canodros, operates the Galapagos Explorer, which is a 100-passenger luxurious ship with all facilities. Address: Av. Portugal 448 and Isabel de Aldáz. Tel. 2256759.
Metropolitan Touring runs the M/N Santa Cruz (90 passengers). and
M/Y Isabela II, which holds 40 passengers.
Etnotours (Juan León Mera and Cordero, Quito, Tel. 2230552) operates the Mondriaan (16 passengers) and Ahmara (8) motor Yachts.
Kleintours.- Runs several Yachts, plus the 90 passenger First superior Class cruise vessel "The M/V Galapagos Legend". Address: Ave. Los Shyris 1000 and Holanda. Tel. 2430345, Fax: 2442389.
Galasam Cía Ltda.- (Amazonas 1354 and Cordero. Tel. 2507080, Fax: 2567662). Operates El Dorado (16 passengers), Cruz del Sur (16), Estrella del Mar (16) and the Millennium (16), all first class yachts.
Enchanted Expeditions.- Operates Angelito (16 passengers), Cachalote (16) Suliday (12) and Beluga (16). Address: Foch 726

Lobo del mar.- Operates its first class yacht Lobo del Mar 3 for 16 passengers. Reservations: 2520810 in Quito.
Golondrina Turismo (Juan León Mera 639 and Carrión, Quito, Tel Fax: 2528570). They operate The Golondrina (8 passengers) and Española (8), both budget class.
